River Safety and Group Rescues is the follow up course to our River Safety and Self Rescue course.  In the River Safety and Group Rescue course we move the focus towards helping others.  The course will give you the confidence to be an effective member of a moving water rescue.

Course content includes:
Boat control in conditions
Wading rescues
Throw bag use
Paddle recovery techniques
Boat recovery techniques
Swimmer recovery techniques
Dealing with a “yard sale”

Participants in the Group Rescue course should be competent maneuvering their boat in moving water and have taken our River Safety and Self rescues course or have similar experience.
